We are located at the corner of Prairie and Central St. in North Evanston. There are a limited number of paid parking spots available on Prairie Ave., which is a one-way street. Free street parking is available about a block north of the pop-up on Prairie, just be sure to check all street signs carefully.

Trains: Third Coast Mahjong is a half-mile west of the Central street Purple Line el stop, and one block east of the Central St. Metra station.

Bus: We are along the 201 bus route that connects downtown Evanston to the Central street business district.

Summer Pop-up: Monday through Wednesday, hours vary.

At Third Coast Mahjong we provide everything you need to successfully learn American-style Mahjong including access to our Mahjong tiles, the current year’s National Mah Jongg League card, our customized teaching materials, and complimentary snacks and beverages.

Your Open play seat must be booked in advance to ensure there are enough players at your level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) to join you at a table. Feel free to bring your own NMJL card or simply borrow one of ours. Complimentary snacks and beverages are always available.
