Third Coast Mahjong offers two levels of League play perfect for those seeking a regular social experience, a sense of community, and an opportunity to grow their game in a welcoming environment. Whether you’re refining advanced strategies or learning through experience, you’ll find encouragement, camaraderie, and a seat at the table.
Beginner League
Third Coast Mahjong offers seasonal 4-week Beginner Leagues designed to help new players gain confidence in their skills through consistent, friendly matches. Perfect for those looking to play weekly, learn about scoring and connect with others in the Third Coast Mahjong community. Every player eligible for door prizes. The top two cumulative scorers walk away with grand prizes at the end of each league series.
Play 3 games in 2 hours of gameplay each week. Players rotate through tables over the course of the 4 weeks.

$100 per person. Leagues limited to 20 players.

Please bring your NMJL card, we take care of the rest.

Complimentary snacks and beverages are always available.
Scoring follows the NMJL rules with bonuses: +10 for Self-pick; +20 for Jokerless hand; +10 for a Wall Game.

Can’t make it to every session? No problem - send a Sub, or we can help you find one (48 hour notice required).

Intermediate League
Third Coast Mahjong offers seasonal 4-week Intermediate Leagues designed for experienced players looking for consistent, faster-paced gameplay in a fun, social environment. Each week players rotate through tables, play multiple games and track points. Every player is eligible for door prizes. The top two cumulative scorers walk away with a grand prize at the end of each league series.
First 4 games of each session count towards total score. Players rotate through tables over the course of the 4 weeks.
